EXPO winner found

The winner of the EXPO competition on the national Danish radio program Smutvejen has been announced.

The winner of the big EXPO competition on the national radio program Smutvejen was revealed today. Lisbet Bratland won a trip for two to Shanghai and an invitation to Denmark Day at the Danish Pavilion on 29 June.

She was invited into the studio of Smutvejen and the Director General for the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority, Finn Lauritzen, also joined the program on the phone.  He congratulated the winner and explained about Denmark Day where there will be a gala concert with classical music, song and ballet.

The national Danish radio program P4 has featured Denmark’s Expo 2010 participation during the last few weeks. The program called Smutvejen has invited its listeners to send in quotes that in an original and inspiring way describe what is best about Denmark.

In total, 10 winners have been found and their quotes will be presented on the walls of the Danish Pavilion and will be exhibited during all six month of Expo 2010.
