Future pavilion guides sitting for examination
The recruitment of trainees for Denmark’s pavilion and for Odense’s exhibition in Shanghai is now entering the final phase. Sixty-three applications have been received by the EXPO Secretariat, and the lucky ones will be selected within the next few weeks.
Sixty-three students want to be part of the Danish EXPO adventure, having applied for the job of trainee during the EXPO 2010 Shanghai. The applicants must be fluent in English and Mandarin and have good knowledge of Danish society, economy and culture.
The job as a trainee has an educational purpose, with the practical experience from EXPO 2010 Shanghai contributing to the degrees of each student. Among other things, the trainee tasks include assisting in the daily operations of the pavilion, welcoming guests, guiding them through the pavilion and assisting in the planning and implementation of cultural events.
The EXPO Secretariat and members of the team management of Odense’s Shanghai project are right now in the process of interviewing candidates suited for the job. The interviews will take place in both Copenhagen and Odense.
