Danish Design is famous for its many achievements in the 20th century. Names as Wegner, Utzon, Jacobsen, Henningsen, and many more rank high internationally. This has been achieved by a small competitive and innovative design sector. Design can be seen as knowledge and creativity, even as art. At the same time it is an important sector with great impact for the competitiveness for enterprises in all sectors of the economy.
In an analysis from the National Agency for Entreprise and Housing new light is shed on the size and significance of the design industry and the potential for future growth. The analysis also describes the interaction between the design sector and enterprises at large.
